Private Security Day is a particularly important occasion for recognizing the work of thousands of professionals who, every day, help protect people, facilities, and property in coordination with law enforcement agencies.

At events held so far in various Spanish provinces, several SICOR Seguridad security guards have received honorable mentions for outstanding performance in the line of duty. These recognitions highlight their professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to a private security model based on prevention, collaboration, and service to the public.

During May and June 2026, professionals from SICOR Seguridad were honored in A Coruña, Jaén, Granada, Barcelona, and Málaga at official events that brought together representatives from the National Police, the Civil Guard, public authorities, and companies in the sector.

The award was given in recognition of an incident that took place on October 20, 2025, when the officer, along with other colleagues, intervened to stop an individual who was attempting to steal several computers. After a struggle, the team managed to subdue and detain the suspect until the National Police arrived.
