Corporate Social Responsibility
CSR, key to the SICOR Group's strategy
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at El Corte Inglés and, consequently, at the SICOR Group, is an essential element in its management strategies. It is understood as a factor of competitiveness, as well as a fundamental aspect in the policy of linking with society.
As a responsible company, at SICOR Group we are committed to continue moving towards sustainability to create an environment based on the care and protection of the environment in particular and the Planet in general.
Since our beginnings, and following clear guidelines for action, we have developed a concept of integrity in business, as well as respect and promotion of the common good, focused on four pillars:
Like all El Corte Inglés companies, at the SICOR Group we seek a fluid and ongoing relationship with our stakeholders, who are also socially responsible:
Business Community
We exchange knowledge and experiences with business associations and organizations.

We work with media relations, opinion leaders, influencers and analysts in order to get our messages across faster and more efficiently.
Business Partners
Trusted brands and companies with whom we have a long-term relationship to work in harmony, sharing values.
Society
We are at the side of local communities, NGOs, academic institutions or social associations, among others, to continue growing together from the most social sphere.

Both private and business customers are the essence and the priority of the SICOR Group.
Capital
Individuals, legal entities and entities with a capital interest allow us to continue to move forward in a sustainable manner.
Employees
Our team of professionals makes us who we are today.
Supporting the UN Global Compact
The Corporate Social Responsibility Policy of El Corte Inglés and its Group companies is based on a series of commitments made by the Board of Directors. Therefore, the SICOR Group promotes the work of El Corte Inglés, which is a member of the United Nations Global Compact, which translates into assuming as its own various ethical and respectful principles related to human, labour, environmental and anti-corruption rights. These principles are included in this international code.
Other El Corte Inglés initiatives that we support are, on the one hand, our participation, since 2008, in the BSCI project (Business Social Compliance Initiative) and, on the other hand, our membership of the Foreign Trade Association FTA, whose aim is "Trade with a Cause", in line with economic, social and environmental sustainability.
Other social commitments
The implementation of a Charter of Commitment with suppliers as an ethical code of conduct and mutual trust.
Integration in international initiatives that seek a standard of guarantee of respect for human and labor rights, with the main objective of advancing in the fulfillment of social responsibility in the supply chain.
Ratification of the UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) Children's Rights and Business Principles as a formalisation of the active commitment to the rights of children and young people.
The adoption of the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism, developed by the World Tourism Organization, an agency of the United Nations.
And the commitment to work towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals adopted on 25 September 2015 at the United Nations Assembly.
All these commitments are in line with the business model of El Corte Inglés and the Group's companies, focused on the following aspects:
Responsibly" stamp of El Corte Inglés
The SICOR Group 's Corporate Social Responsibility actions have the "Responsibly" Seal of El Corte Inglés, which was created to associate all CSR communications and activities carried out in the company, thus giving visibility to good practices.
