SICOR Security has been awarded two important tenders related to the provision of Surveillance and Security Services in Madrid.
The SICOR Group company began providing the service last December in both Metro de Madrid and EMT Madrid.
The security surveillance service for the Metro network, awarded to SICOR Seguridad El Corte Inglés, S.L., is the one corresponding to Lot 4, which amounts to 43,127,337.38€ (VAT excluded).
The duration of the contract will be for 48 months with the possibility of an extension for an additional 12 months.
The staff assigned to the METRO service consists of more than 250 security guards and more than 20 middle managers to provide a quality security service to all users of the different lines that make up the awarded Lot 4: line 1, with 25 stations, line 6, with 16 stations and line 11 with 7 stations.
As for the EMT Madrid award, the lot awarded to SICOR Seguridad El Corte Inglés, S.L., was Lot 2 for an amount of 4,411,119.60 euros (VAT excluded), with a duration of 24 months, extendable for a further 12 months.
The service, which is the object of the contract, will have more than 50 security guards to cover the night bus lines, the EMT Headquarters, the tourist Cable Car Service and the entity's parking lots.
