On 21 September, the Private Security Day was held in Valencia to commemorate the great work carried out by the various professionals in this sector in Spain.
This event, sponsored by Grupo SICOR, was presided over by the sub-delegate of the Government, Luis Felipe Martínez, accompanied by personalities such as José Hermida (General of the VI Zone of the Civil Guard), Alfredo Garrido (the head of regional operations of the National Police) and Gerardo Antón Fos, vice-rector of CEU-Cardenal Herrera, the venue for the event.
The work carried out by these professionals, especially during the months of the pandemic, reinforcing hospitals and supermarkets, was always kept in mind. However, the complementary role they play with respect to the State Security Forces and Corps was also highlighted.
Private Security Day, award winners
A total of 168 people received diplomas and commemorative plaques from the Guardia Civil and the National Police. The SICOR Group would like to make special mention of all the members of our team who received awards:
- 7 vigilantes were presented with commendations by the National Police.
- 1 inspector was presented with a commendation by the Guardia Civil.
- 1 director of security was presented with a citation by the National Police.
